We understand that during this unprecedented time, things come up and schedules change. To keep our stylist's best interests at heart, we have changed our policy.

Cancellation Policy

At K&Co. Salon we strive to ensure the utmost positive and enjoyable experience for our Guests and team members. K&Co. Salon team understands that sometimes there are unavoidable circumstances that can conflict with your scheduled appointment and therefore cause you to cancel. Our new policy as of January 2021, we now require credit cards on file in order to hold your appointment. As a courtesy to our guests and team members, we ask that any cancellations be rescheduled within 48 hours of your already scheduled appointment. Cancellation requests made after the 48 hour cancellation period will be subject to a 50% charge of your service fee. Missed appointments with no call, no show or same day cancellation are subject to a charge the full 100% amount of the service.

The salon offers an email and text reminder for your scheduled appointments. Late cancellations and missed appointments leave gaps in the stylist’s schedules that cannot be filled without timely notice. This 48 hour courtesy notification enables us to schedule other clients, and in turn, maintains availability of services for you and other salon guests.

Text & Email Reminders

The salon offers an email and text reminder for your scheduled appointments. When you receive your text/email reminder you are required to reply “Yes” to confirm. However, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call the salon to cancel and reschedule for another date.

Running Late

At K&Co. Salon we try to be as prompt and efficient with our scheduling as possible, sometimes services require more time than expected, we will try to give a courtesy call to clients when stylists are running late, but in some cases we cannot foresee the issue, please be aware that each guest has different needs and in some cases the stylist might be running late. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

*Please note: No-shows and cancellations without a 48-hour notice will require a deposit to schedule a new appointment and hold the time slot on the stylists’ schedule. Due to the volume and flow of the stylists’ schedules, if you are expecting to be late to your appointment we would appreciate a courtesy call to the salon to let us know you are on your way. If by chance you are more than 15 minutes late arriving to your appointment we may ask you to reschedule due to the scheduling of other appointments.

Inclement Weather Policy

There are times when the weather causes the need to cancel appointments. We respect the safety of others and in these cases we do not require a 48-hour cancellation. Please be aware that the salon will be open if we are able to arrive in a safe and timely matter. If K&Co. Salon needs to close due to inclement weather, the team will contact each client starting from the first appointment to the last and will work to accommodate the cancelled guests on another date as soon as it is possible.

Child Safety

Due to the size of our establishment and all the chemicals and tools in a salon environment, we ask that you find child care unless they have an appointment scheduled with us, as it is not safe for them to be left unattended. Due to covid restrictions and being a smaller salon, we want to have your family and our staff be as safe and healthy as possible. As we navigate covid restrictions, we ask you to arrive alone to the salon for your appointment.

Deposits for Extended Appointments

A deposit of $100 is required to reserve appointments that are 2 hours or longer. (Ex: smoothing services, corrective color, Balayage, hair extensions, etc.) This deposit will be held and used toward services on the day of your appointment. In the event of a cancellation for these long appointment blocks, a 48-hour notice is required to receive a full deposit refund.
